A post set shallow in that kind of ground gets worked loose faster than the same post on an older street. The soil does the rocking. Then one storm finishes it.

Posts still hard at the ground line and standing plumb stay put. Anything soft, snapped, or pushed off line comes out, and the new post goes into fresh ground.

My fence is only ten years old. Why is it already leaning?
Age probably isn't the cause. On a fence that young in Frisco, it is almost always a storm or a builder spec that didn't hold. Shallow posts in freshly graded clay get worked loose faster than the same post on ground that has been settled for decades. We can usually tell you which at the estimate.
Frisco code enforcement sent me a notice about my fence. Now what?
